EI3PA

EI3PA stands for Experian Independent Third Party Assessment. Any company that stores, transmits or delivers Personally Identifiable information provided by Experian may be required to perform an EI3PA Security Assessment by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). Experian bases their security assessment on the current PCI DSS guidelines and requirements. The only difference is the QSA is assessing how a company protects Experian data rather than credit card data.
