Penetration Testing

At Specialized Security Services, Inc., we provide secure and thorough penetration testing to all our clients. With our comprehensive set of tools, methodology and techniques, our engineers perform high level penetration testing.

What is Penetration Testing?

Our vulnerability assessment simply identifies and reports noted vulnerabilities, whereas a penetration test attempts to exploit the vulnerabilities to determine whether unauthorized access or other malicious activity is possible. Penetration testing will include network and application layer testing as well as controls and processes around the networks and applications. We will test from both outside the network trying to come in (external testing) and inside the network.

How does it Work?

The penetration test is performed by seeing how far into the client’s system an “ethical hacker” can get. We very carefully ensure that we will not change any type of system setting, configuration, or credentials regarding our Client’s IT infrastructure. After the penetration testing is complete, we provide clients with a detailed report outlining our findings and sorting them by applicable regulations, such as FISMA and PCI DSS.

We offer our clients several different types of Penetration Testing including:

  • PCI Penetration Testing
  • Blind Penetration Testing
  • Application Penetration Testing
  • Wireless Penetration Testing
  • Social Engineering
